What is MCBDirect Corporate?
MCBDirect Corporate is a Commercial Internet Banking system, designed to be used by all type of businesses and organizations. MCBDirect Corporate is available 24 hours a day, 7 days per week and accessible from all over the world.

What is required to start using MCBDirect Corporate?

  • Active Business Account(s)

Account Information

Which accounts can be viewed on MCBDirect Corporate?

All active accounts you are authorized to view, as well as the account balances of your Credit Card(s), Personal Loan(s), Mortgage(s), Time Deposit(s), Call Account(s), Investment Account(s) and Insurance Policies.

What needs to be done to view additional accounts on MCBDirect Corporate?
On the Change Profile page, there is a submenu Add/Remove Additional Accounts. Click on the submenu button and fill out the form to request the additional of other accounts to MCBDirect Corporate.

How far back is it possible to view transactions in MCBDirect Corporate?
A customer can view current and savings account transactions up to six (6) months back.

Can statements be viewed in MCBDirect Corporate?
Yes, statements for Current, Statement Savings accounts and all Credit Cards are available in light-weight full color online versions that print in an ink conserving way, or save the full color PDF on your computer. Detailed History can also be downloaded on your PC for import into Microsoft Money or Quicken.

When can today´s transactions be viewed in MCBDirect Corporate?
Transactions submitted and processed on MCBDirect Corporate, or through other bank departments, prior to 2:00 pm on business days will show up MCBDirect Corporate after 11:00 pm that same day.

Account Transfers

What is an account transfer and how does it work?

An account transfer is moving funds between the Current and/or Savings Account(s) that are set up in MCBDirect Corporate. Transfers are supported in NAf., USD and Euro currencies. The transfer will occur in the currency of the From account. To transfer funds, select the account you want to transfer funds from and the account you want to transfer the funds to.

Is it possible to transfer Dollars and Euro´s?
Yes, it is possible to transfer US Dollars and Euros if the transfer From account is a Foreign Currency account. It is also possible to make payments from a US Dollar or Euro account.

Payments

How does Payment works?

With Payments one can pay anyone with an account at MCB, other local banks, and MCB subsidiaries on the other islands. These payments can be either single payments, batch transactions or standing orders.

International payments can be done by using the Wire Transfers option provided on MCBDirect Corporate.

What is Send File (file upload)?
Files generated in other applications like payrolls and accounts payables can be sent to the bank for processing. Beneficiaries can have accounts at MCB, other local banks or MCB subsidiaries.

A bill has been paid but the balance of the account did not change. Why not?
When making a payment, the balance of the selected account will not reflect payment of the amount until the payment has been processed. The processing of payment will take place on a First In basis and can happen any time during the day.
When scheduling a standing order, the balance of the selected account will not reflect payment of the amount until payment has been processed during our settlement procedure, between approximately 4:00 and 5:00 pm.

When does the beneficiary of a bill actually get the payment?
If the beneficiary´s account is at Maduro & Curiel's Bank, the payment will be received the same business day. For beneficiaries at other local banks, it takes about 3 days for the payment to be received. Please allow an adequate amount of time for the payment to reach the beneficiary.

How can a beneficiary on another island be paid?
If the beneficiary is within the MCBGroup the same payment procedure applies as with local banks, selecting the beneficiary´s bank from the Bank dropdown list on the Add New Beneficiary page. If the beneficiary's bank does not appear on the dropdown menu list, payment can be executed by means of a Wire Transfer.

How can a beneficiary in the USA or Europe and the rest of the world be paid?
Beneficiaries in the USA, Europe or any other part of the world can be paid by Wire Transfers.

Is it possible to get a confirmation that a payment has been made?
MCBDirect Corporate generates confirmations both at creation of the payment and at its execution. This confirmation number should be kept for your reference and serve to identify the transaction when information is required regarding this payment

Can a local bill be paid from a Dollar or Euro account?
Yes, however, the beneficiary account will be credited in its native (e.g. NAf.) currency.

Limits

What are the transaction limits?
There are no limits in number of transactions that can be done. However, each transaction amount is subdue to the rights as applicable on the account signature list.

Other Bank Services

Can I order a chequebook in MCBDirect Corporate?

Yes, one can choose both the type of chequebook and the quantity of chequebooks that is required. Also the pickup branch can be chosen. The chequebook will be ready for pickup in 3 business days.

Can I request a stop payment on a cheque?
Yes, in case of a lost or stolen cheque, a customer can request a stop payment via MCBDirect Corporate.

MCBDirect Corporate Security Issues

How do I sign on in MCBDirect Corporate?

Authentication and encryption happens trough use of Digital Certificates.

MCB issues a Digital Certificate to every user of MCBDirect Corporate. This is a special permission to get access to the MCBDirect Corporate website. Log On to MCBDirect Corporate is only possible with the Digital Certificate.

We provide you with your own private key to enter our branch on the web.

How are passwords managed?
Each user of MCBDirect Corporate gets his/her own User ID and password, to which the rights of the user are tied. Information of all users is stored on the bank’s server. Whenever changes have to be made on a user’s rights, this has to be requested via the mail option in MCBDirect Corporate. This ensures that all users and rights are carefully documented and accounted for.

Does MCBDirect Corporate account for Segregation of duties?
Segregation of duties can be applied according to organizational structure of the company. Account view and amount limits can be applied to both creation and authorization of transactions, at user level.

Costs

What does it cost to use MCBDirect Corporate?
MCBDirect Corporate has a monthly fee of NAf. 50,- which includes 1 Digital Certificate. There is an additional NAf. 10,- for each extra Digital Certificate.

The following transaction fees, with additional charges for Stop Payments and Checkbook Orders applies.
