Because of the constitutional changes in the Netherlands Antilles on October 10, 2010, we inform you that as of October 1, 2011 the Bank Identifier Codes (SWIFT BIC Codes) used for international (and inter-island) payments of MCB Curaçao and its Subsidiaries will change, with the exception of the Code for Caribbean Mercantile Bank (CMB) in Aruba.
As our banks cannot use the country code of the Netherlands Antilles anymore (AN), a new SWIFT (BIC) Code that has the country codes of the new countries (CW, SX, BQ) has been assigned to each.
For our MCB Group this means a change for: Maduro & Curiel’s Bank Curaçao, Maduro & Curiel’s Bank Bonaire, The Windward Islands Bank Sint Maarten and The Windward Islands Bank Sint Eustatius.

Therefore, please note that starting October 1, 2011, the old SWIFT (BIC) Codes cannot be used any longer for SWIFT transfers, as they will not be recognized as a valid SWIFT (BIC) Code, and payments to Maduro & Curiel’s Group will only be processed with the new SWIFT (BIC) Code. Failing to inform the Sender of this change and not using the NEW SWIFT (BIC) Code will result in payments NOT being processed by SWIFT.
